The group of Spanish golf institutions –integrated by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation (RFEG), the Autonomous Golf Federations, the Spanish Association of Golf Courses (AECG), the Spanish Association of Greenkeepers (AEdG), the Spanish Association of Golf Managers (AEGG) and the Spanish Association of Golf Professionals (PGA) – presents the Golf Sport Opening Protocol, a series of guidelines and recommendations for the practice of recreational golf safely, when the Health Authorities directly based on the evolution of the pandemic caused by Covid-19.
The measures described in the Golf Sport Opening Protocol, in which both practitioners and facilities are involved, the result of the contributions of all the aforementioned institutions, and also including the recommendations of international golf organizations .
The document describes a series of guidelines in order to serve as a guide for both golfers and golf courses, so that they can be applied at the time when, within the de-escalation process announced by the Government of Spain, it is allowed the recreational practice of the sport of golf.
